AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE

Dear readers,

It has been much too long since you heard from me, but life happens and I have been dealing

with the loss of my husband. I’m sure you understand.

I am eager to share a recent Unforgettable Experience. I was in a store with my little bag of books and a shopping cart. As I was leaving, I noticed a lady with children the age that would enjoy Tiny Makes a Friend. I told her that I was a children’s author and could I introduce my book to her. She consented and listened and then said she wanted one. As I pulled out the six books that were in my bag, she said, “I want all of them”. What a surprise! I was delighted. As I gave her the books, she volunteered that she had just obtained custody of the children because their mother had died in a fire. I was stunned and couldn't respond. What a heartbreak. THEN she added, “This is their first book”.  It was truly a most unforgettable experience.
